I put the bundles in a folder under Plug-ins, the folder shows in Finale but it's empty, although I can see the bundles there in Finder. What am I missing?

Make sure you install the 64bit version of the plug-ins. 64 should appear in the name of each zipped file (not in the .bundle file).
If you have a M1 Mac, you need to run Finale in Rosetta mode to use these non-native plug-ins.

Not sure if this is the right place : since upgrading to Finale 27 some plug-ins are missing.

At the moment I only have Beam over Barlines and Patterson Beams.

I can see others under Mac HD / Library /MakeMusic /Finale 27 (many of which would be most useful)

Any installation help gratefully received. :(

Jari's plug-ins are compiled for Intel only. With Finale 27.3, MM have re-compiled six? of the most useful plug-ins for Apple Silicon, and bundled them with Finale, as part of the installation.

If you want to use any of the others, you'll still have to run Finale in Rosetta emulation model.

Sounds like an installation problem. Look in Preferences/folders to see where the plug-ins ought to be.

Many thanks for the replies.

I have an Intel Mac and can see where the plug-ins should be.

I can see them under Mac HD / Library /MakeMusic /Finale 27, but do not know how to correctly move the folder.

Any advice much appreciated.

By default, they will be in the Plug-ins folder inside that location. You should not normally need to move them: but you need to ensure that Finale is set to read that location.

In Finale's Preferences > Folders, make sure the plug-in folder location is de-selected. That will enforce the default location.
