Good afternoon,
I've been using Finale for 15 years and I've never found an awkward problem like this.
Everything's fine but when I try to print the file -through "Export -> pdf" or on printing in my virtual pdf printer, final double bars disappear:
Last bar style is set to "Normal" and Staff Attributes as usual:
Any thoughts? The thing is that I've tried out with a lot of saved old files and when I try to reprint them the same thing happens...
Reinstall?
Thanks in advance
Carrington

Change the bar style from normal to final. Print a copy on paper. Any difference?

Thanks to all.
Yes, Final barline, ok; document options too.
And both in scroll view and page view final barlines appear in the expected way.
It's only on printing or exporting, I mean, on going out to the real world, which is a real problem for professional editing.
Thanks again

Do you want to post the file here to see if others can reproduce your problem?

The lines in the printed final barline in your picture look too far apart to be a double barline, so I think it's the rendering of the heavy line rather than Finale settings.
I recommend against ever using File/Export/PDF. It's buggy. But if it's also happening printing to your virtual PDF printer, something else is wrong. It's worth trying all the PDF printers you have (e.g. Microsoft Print to PDF).
Another thing to try is changing Heavy Line Thickness in Document Options/Barlines just to see what happens.
Finally, I would also try this:

Thanks for all your guidance...
I haven't opened my 3.500 Finale files to check them all, but I've tried with 20 or so and all of them suffer from this error.
I'm uploading this one... Let's see if you have my problem or haven't
(The final "t" from Mozart is missing, sorry)
Thanks again

Prints on my HP printer and PDF as normal. Final bar line looks perfect.

BTW, I did not see anything out of ordinary in your sample part.

Is there any possibility that your printer is cutting off the rightmost part of that final bar because the last bit of it is intruding into a margin that the printer doesn't print in? I think this is a rather far-fetched possibility but I just thought I'd ask.

A big hi for all of you
Sorry for my late answer but I've been on trip.
Thanks to Motet and his idea of restarting Finale preferences.
I'm not sure yet if that fixed the problem or maybe the change of my virtual pdf printer.
In any case, I applied these two changes and things went back to normal... Final double bars are now exported correctly an everything's is in the way it is expected.
Finale is on fire again
Thanks again
