Whenever I export my document, which is 9x12, I the bottom of the page is always cut off by about an inch. Even when I change the margins of the score, it keeps cropping the bottom of the document. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried just not using the bottom inch or so of the page but I think that looks a bit ugly and wastes some space.

Do you have the settings in both page setup and print?

Sounds like he or she is using export, not print, and 9 x 12 works for me doing that, so I dunno.

Is the PDF document you get 8-1/2 x 11 or is it 9 x 12 but the bottom part of the page is blank?

In Windows, open Printers and Scanners from the Control Panel and click Print Server Properties. There you'll see a Forms tab. Make sure 9 x 12, also called ARCH A, is in the list. If not, try adding it.

Sorry for the late reply.

I checked and ARCH A is present in my print server properties. I also checked the PDF dimensions and it is in fact exporting as 9x12. I tried to use Print to PDF, but I am unable to find ARCH A, Concert, or 9x12 as page options in Finale. Maybe if I can get the Print to PDF to work, that might solve it?

Looks like Microsoft Print to PDF has a limited number of paper sizes. I personally use CutePDF, which is free.

If you want to attach your file here, I can try it.

Motet,

Thanks for the offer! Perhaps you could enlighten me as to how I can use CutePDF for myself? That way I can use it on future projects as well.

I downloaded CutePDF but I do not know how use it with Finale.

Thanks

If you have downloaded and installed Cute PDF it should show as a printer in the Print Menu.
Go to File > Print > Setup
Printer Name - choose Cute PDF (I am using another one)
Paper Size - choose your format
I would also check Fit to Page under Layout
OK
that should do it
