I don't know if this has been discussed here before.
A strange behavior that has been present in Finale as far as I can remember :
In the Text tool, I select the handle of a text. In the Text menu -> Font Size always displays 12.
1) It is impossible to see in the menu the size currently in use
2) Changing the size gets applied to the text, but the menu still displays 12.
This could be a bug, because other programs don't behave like Finale. Any thoughts ?

To see the size of the text in use, right-click on the handle and pick Edit Text. Text can have mixed sizes in the same text box, so it's showing you the default when you have nothing selected.

It also works if you double click on the handle and select the text or a portion of it. The menu displays the relevant information (font, size, style) concerning the selected region.
P.S. : it seems that Inserts (Title, composer, etc...) can only use one type of font attributes.
