Hi there!
I'm encountering problems formatting an imported MIDI file in Finale.
Can you help?
1. I can't adjust the top stave margin, even setting it to zero in the Edit Margins dialogue.
2. Spacing of accidentals is completely absent, even changing music fonts. Music Spacing has no effect.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Use the Setup Wizard to make a new, blank file for the instruments in the MIDI import. Copy and paste the MIDI into the new blank file. Is that better?

Make sure system locks are removed and all page breaks are removed. Check your page margins for each page.

Thanks NG - already tried that, that's the spot I'm in. The original was even worse.
Thanks also ebiggs. Am making progress. It would have been quicker to transcribe it myself!
