I've received this from a student:

For the past few days, I haven't been able to start Finale 25 on my Windows 11 computer. It hangs when starting up, and I wonder if it could be the license checking which is done over the internet or something else. I presume a Microsoft update has been applied that wasn't compatible with Finale.

Of course, MakeMusic are trying to get me to upgrade to version 27 -- which I'd pay for, but I obviously don't want to lose compatibility with your Finale!

Can anyone here give answers that he may find useful?

No problems with Fin25 and Win11 here...
Finale 25, Overture, Sibelius, Notion, Cubase, StaffPad

The student has now bought F 27, which may be my cue to get it too, even if (for now) I continue to use F26 for my own work.
