Aria / Plogue crashes on aiff export

When I export files as audio tracks, I get intermittent crashes on my Mac - this began with a new i9 mac (6 core) and v25.5 to 27.x Finale update. The crash report is dozens (and dozens) of lines saying Aria this and Plogue that... not sure how to begin to debug this. The OS is Monterey. Ideas?
At least this machine is fast - recovery is only a couple seconds.
