Hello all,

So my problem today has to do with MIDI input using my keyboard (a Yamaha P-45, if that helps).

My problem is that I'm trying to play notes differently from what the program reads. Such as, if I want a note to be a G#, Finale programs it as an Ab. Such as the example I attached. This is a B major chord (Bass clef). The tonality is corrected but the notation isn't. Finale recognizes the D# as an Eb. Is there a way to change the way Finale recognizes notes from MIDI input?

Thanks!

Take a good look in the sub-menu for Enharmonic Spelling:
Enharmonic Spelling > …

You should be able to find a setting that suits your needs.
