Problem with not being able to make spaces with inserted text !!!

I struggled with this problem for 3 days and was screaming at the tech staff with email because no one knew how to fix it.
Problem was Every time I wanted to insert any kind of text or change the title of a piece Finale wouldn't let me make spaces. Than I discovered the only time it would was when I capitalized all the text I was writing ....#$%^&&*& !!!
By luck I went the accessibility settings on my mac (Ventura) ....keyboard.....and turned off allowing computer to be controlled by the keyboard...Whalla !! Finale is back working fine. I guess the upgrade to Ventura automatically sets the keyboard to the "on" position...if you get this problem this should fix it !!
