Hi. Attaching these out of control diminuendo markings to beats accomplishes nothing. They still move around. In these instances there are two layers in use to create tremolos. Layer two has extra beats to create the tremolo. Still looking for a solution.

.They are all over the place
Yes they are. Are you asking about the end points of the hairpins or the collisions? You can stop a hairpins or swells wherever you want it. You have a lot of things going on and have too little space for it is why there are collisions. If you simply want to line it all up TG Tools Align/Move Dynamics.

The two endpoints are anchored to specific beats--notice the little blue lines as you create them. It can be a partial beat if there's a note there. If you drag them too far from their anchor points, they may appear to be "all over the place." Attaching them directly under the notes should be the same as "beat attached."

Is there anyway to turn off attaching lines and hair pins to something. I believe because there are two layers and the second layer involves moving beat locations that it is interfering with the lines.

I found a solution that is holding up. Since there is notation in layers 1 and two, I created a third layer and filled it with 1/8 note rests and hid them.
