Saving a score as an 11x17 PDF

I have an 11x17 score that I need to save as an 11x17 PDF. I have been able to do this in the past, but, for some reason, it's not working now.

All the pages are set to 11x 17 in the Page Layout tool.

Under Page Setup, it is formatted for "Any Printer" and the page size is listed as "Untitled 11.00 by 17.00."

The problem is, when I go to the print screen, in the drop-down list under paper size, both "Untitled 11.00 by 17.00" and "Manage Custom Sizes" are greyed out. As a result, when I click on "Save as PDF," I get a "Page Size Warning: The size of some pages in this document does not match the size of the paper in the printer. Do you wish to continue?"

I am working on a Mac - Monterey 12.6.1. My printer is an HP LaserJet 400 M451dw that only prints on paper sizes up to 8.5x14.

Any help on how to save my score as an 11x17 PDF would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

Instead of “printing” to a PDF file, have you tried the Graphics Tool - export as PDF ?
