My question is about deleting notes either in Speedy or Simple Entry.
There's an "extra 'g'" in "A Song for Peace" (the piece I submitted in a previous thread) that I'd like to delete before I "print" the file as a pdf file.
How does one delete (or hide) a note in Finale without having the subsequent notes move to the left?

Put the cursor on the note and press 'H' (Hide). There are many hotkeys for modifying entries if you take the time to look.

Jasmine123,
I took a good look at “Song for Peace”, but I was unable to find that extra 'g'.
Where is it? - in what measure?

I also looked for it, and since I've updated files of it I also am unable to find that extra 'g'. It has either been deleted or been replaced by another note.
