I need to make tempo changes at a meter 11/8 and very slow tempo. But finale (or maybe me) puts the new tempo mark automatically to the beggining of the bar. Could you please help me? I need to add 2 or more tempo marks into the same bar.
For tempo marks you want to set to specific notes, go first to the tempo mark > Edit > Expression Designer > Positioning > Horizontal Alignment Point > Center of all Noteheads. You can then attach that Tempo to begin playing at any selected note.
(looks like motet posted this already while I was typing ...)

Expressions of the category Tempo Alterations can produce their effect at their position, which can be anywhere in a measure.
