Copy chords but not fretboard

If you have a score with acoustic guitar that has chords & fretboards but you only want to copy the chords into a lead part or bass part let's say (not the fretboard) how do you do that? If I turn fretboard off to re-enter chords symbols only into the lead part and then turn fretboard back on for the acoustic part the fretboards show up on the lead part. We need to have Chords and fretboards separated in the filter - maybe this was changed?

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but you can make a staff style that shows chords but not fretboards.
