The flat and sharp symbols that come up beside chord roots are sometimes too small. I can't find how to make them larger. I can change the size of all aspects of chord suffixes, but I can't find anything on this. Can you help, please?

Thanks, Peter, but when I do that the flat symbols become lower case 'b's. What font should I be choosing to get a proper flat symbol? I'm using Finale Jazz Text for the general text in the arrangement and Jazz Cord for the chord roots and suffixes.

You are using Finale v27 - right?

Try the font Finale Jazz - it works for me.

Generally, you should use a font that has the accidental glyphs located in the font slots used, when you “Type Into Score”.

When you type a flat (as in Bb7), you type a lowercase ‘b’ - and expect to get a ♭.
In Other Words:
Use a font that has the flat symbol located in the font slot #98 (= where text fonts have a lowercase ‘b’)

Similarly, the font should have the sharp symbol located in font slot #35 (= where text fonts have the # symbol).

And what fonts have ♭ in slot #98, and ♯ in slot #35? - the music fonts!

The font Finale Jazz Text is a text font, not a music font.
That is the reason why you get lowercase ‘b’s.

Thanks, Peter. I do get it! :-) I'm using v. 27.3.0.137. When I tried Finale Jazz it put in 'b'. When I tried JazzCord I got a 'B'. However, when I tried Jazz Perc I finally got a flat symbol. Success at last, although I don't know how you'd explain that. Thanks again.
