I'm editing a composition that I originally notated using Finale 11 years ago (!!) with Finale 2012. Since it is an early eighteenth-century work, it has a figured bass; I used Ansgar Krause's Figured Bass font for Finale.

The file has been automatically converted to the 'new file format' (I'm still using Finale 2014), but the original figures under the bass are substituted with symbols. I no longer had the figured bass font installed (I changed laptops last year and forgot about reinstalling any extra fonts), so I've just reinstalled it, but it makes no difference.

Is it possibile to change the font of lyrics that have already been inserted? If not, what is the easiest way to remove lyrics globally so that I can redo them?

Thanks.

I go into the Lyrics window, select all, and go to the text menu > character settings… to make the change.

I don’t know if that would work for figured bass.

Thanks, miker. Everything suddenly fell into place when I closed and then opened Finale again (even though refreshing the page earlier did nothing!!)
