Hello. I am now getting an error message after opening finale v. 26. Sometimes it goes away after clicking several times, sometimes I have to force quit. It says Audio Engine has failed to load. Please restart Finale.

Anyone know about this. After force quitting it is usually ok for a while

Try disable the print spooler. Once Finale is up and running you can enable the print spooler again.

Thanks so much. Rewire not a problem. Changing source output in setup seems to have quieted it for the time being. I appreciate your help. I will put the print spooler solution in my back pocket. Again, thanks!

Yes, I have no idea why that would interfere with Finale's sound engine but it does.
