Hi All,
I'm having a new error in Finale that I haven't encountered before. In the past I have always used marcato accents to denote a short note duration in my charts, but suddenly when I go into the Articulation Designer Box and change from "Change Attack" (the default for marcato) to "Change Duration" for Playback Effect, it's not saving my settings and reverting back to "Change Attack." Any idea whats going on? I did update my computer recently...
Finale V. 25.4, Mac Ventura 13.3
Thanks so much
-Sam

This might be the reason why you are having a problem:
Finale v25 was created years before Ventura.
If I were still using Finale v25, I would probably not upgrade Mac OS to Ventura already now.
* Have you considered upgrading Finale ?
By The Way:
Please specify the steps you’ve already taken (to solve the problem), so that we can rule out things.
Have you e. g. (among other steps)
- quitted Finale, and launched it again ?
- rebooted the computer ?
- tried trashing your Preferences file?
Mac OS X 12.6.9 (Monterey), Finale user since 1996

Thank you for your responses!
I ended up finding something that worked - I switched the playback option to "none" and from there to "duration" and that seemed to work. Not sure what was going on but it seems to be resolved now.
Thank you
