I'm having issues hiding the percussion staff on my file. Every other stuff goes away but that one staff. I already checked group settings and it doesn't matter whether it's by itself or inside a group, it stays unmovable. I'm looking to hide it on pages 9 - 11. I am using a custom percussion layout and wonder if that's the problem.
I have already read and applied most info online and still not working.

I was able to hide percussion on pages 9-11 by selecting those measures of that staff in the Staff tool and using Hide Empty Staves on the Staff menu. How are you trying to do it?

OH! I'll be damned... I have always used the contextual menu (right-click on the staff box). It just worked for me, thanks!
I wonder why my way would work for all other staves but that one...
Thanks!

Contextual menu works for me, too, so I don't know what the difference is. I'm happy to learn about that way of hiding, though!
