Note Mover problem

Hello-I'm having a problem with notemover. It's never happened before. Notemover worked in the piano vocal score version of this and now as I move it to part of an orchestration, I can't get notemover to work. I've tried the TG plug in as well. I have also checked to make sure the grand staves are a group. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm working in Finale 27.3.0.137 in windows 11 home.

Two things:

1) Assuming that what you want to do is to move the low notes onto the lower stave, shouldn't the rests on that lower stave first be default whole bar rests rather than ‘real’ rests?

2) On a Mac at least, rather than using Note Mover, I would select the low notes I wanted to move and then key Option plus Down Arrow. I'm fairly sure there is a Windows equivalent.

The Note Mover works for me. Make sure Cross Staff is checked in the Note Mover menu.

The cross-staff plug-in and its shortcut Alt+Down is for the sort of cross-staff with the beam between the staves, which may or may not be wanted here.

Thank you. Cross staff is checked in the note mover menu. It worked in my original 3-4 staff file.
