Since I switched to Finale v26 a while ago, I've been having issues with the score manager.
Whenever I want to add an instrument in the drop-down menu, it disappears when I click on something, any of the instruments or categories, and nothing has happened. Similarly, when I add a blank stave and try to assign an instrument to it via the drop-down menu, it also disappears.

Changing sample libraries doesn't solve the issue either.

Any ideas?

Restart Finale.
Shut down and reboot the computer.
Refresh the preferences.

I am finding that this is the solution more often than not in these situations of sudden, unexpected unresponsiveness. It tends to be my first step in trouble-shooting these things. When it works, I'm happy!
