Hi,

I can;t scroll to the bottom. I have to make the window large, then the scroll bar on the right works to get me to the bottom staff. But then I cannot make the window small to just show the lower staves.

Here's a demo

Try "Page Down (Up)".

Thanks for the response.

No, page up/down won't get me to the bottom.
If I do page Down, it gets me 2/3rd down my score, and then Page Up works are expected to get me to the top.

Anything else I can try?
(I've tried 2 computers, rebooting of course - it's gone on for a long timeDefault file, other Fonale files, etc..)

This just in!

If I press Cmd - several times I CAN scroll to the botrtom staff. But it is so small it is impossible to read! Still - is this a clue?

You need to press "page down" more than once to get to the bottom. If that doesn't work, maybe the number of staves affects it. Mine works as expected with 25-30 staves.

I've had similar problems opening older projects in 26.3 and 27.3.
Here are a few options that may prove useful, though you may need to adjust the layout afterwards.

1. Try using Score Menagerie by going through some of the options shown in the screenshots.

2. Staff tool (menu): reorder staves (if necessary). Most of the time works.

3. Respace staves (do it in scroll view only)

4. Go to studio view and see if there are redundant staves not showing. This is a bug that has happened to me and so far I haven't found a solution.

If you get a chance, post the project, or just the first page of it, so more people can try to help substantively.

Best,
Wess

Reorder staves did not affect the problem.
RESPACE STAVES in Scroll View seems to have solved this longstanding, annoying problem!

I will post again only if this fails tomorrow!

THANK YOU!!!
