Is there any way to increase the size of these?

Since using a 4k monitor, the text size in the interface is too small.
My eyes hurt sometimes.
Clicking the zoom in button only increases the size of the box.
Is there any way to increase the size?

I never noticed that before. How dumb! What possible use is that?

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question.

Try working by switching the resolution to 1080p. Then you will have 4 pixels for 1, similar to retina display. For this you can use SwitchResX in HiPDI mode (if your monitor allows it). The picture quality will not suffer, on the contrary.
BTW, I had a similar problem with my iMac 27" (my glasses have a large diopter too) and the solution described above was the optimal for me.

It is also possible to use the zoom option of the OS and expand the picture with the mouse scroll (picture in picture). It's very handy, especially in cases like this.

Here are the settings:

The second option is the fastest to trigger and is convenient. You can see the result on the short video.

I’ve been sending in complaints about that forever. The oddest thing is that in 27, some of the screens enlarge correctly, but some don’t.

I have the posssibility to increase the size with two buttons on the upper right side of the window. (But I am on a Windows PC, maybe that is different on a Mac)

The buttons exist on the Mac, too, but they only make a difference with Shape expressions, not with Text expressions.
