How to save new articulation symbol for new document?

Copy and paste a measure containing the special articulation into the file you're working on. The special articulation will now be found in that file's articulation selection. Delete what you pasted in.

Also, you can add the new articulation to the template you use for creating new documents.
In that way all new documents (created from that template!) will automatically contain the new articulation.

I think Finale must add possibility to do it more easy and standard way.

Long ago Jari Williamson wrote a plug-in called Forza that could transfer a single item from one file to another. I don't think it works with current versions of Finale, but it shows such a thing is possible, maybe with a Lua script.
