I'm looking for a notation sequencer compatible with Mac system 10.15.
The attachment gives an example of what I'm looking for. I played a passage
"unevenly" and it gave meas.1-2. What I intend is meas.3-4, as if it quantized
on the fly. So I want a simple musical notation - not a graphics chart.
I would be improvising on the same keyboard I use to input notation into
my Finale software, and then copying the sequence (manually) into Finale
as notation. Not interested in Hyperscribe because it does not quantize my playing
accurately, even when using a click. I heard something about Logic but it seems
more complex than I would need. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you just mean that you want to be able to input music into a notation app with better quantization than you're able to achieve with Finale?
Surely you'd export MusicXML from the other application, whatever it is?
"DAWs" (Digital Audio Workstations) like Logic and Cubase are primarily designed to deal with MIDI and audio data: their notation capabilities are pretty poor; though they are very good at quantizing MIDI data.
Your best option is to try one of the other notation apps: Dorico SE, Sibelius First and MuseScore are all free to use. You can try them out and see if you get better results. Then it's up to you whether you export back to Finale, or not.

Thanks, I'll check out your recommendations. As you can probably tell, my Finale software
knowledge skills - although I've used the program for many years - is limited and I seek the
simplest solutions without fully understanding them. My keyboard/piano skills are fortunately
higher. Yes, I've tried hyperscribe several times and the quantization is way off, for my purposes.
