Can't figure out how to change the G-natural to F-##. It just keeps changing to Abb. Thanks.

It works for me using Speedy. How are you doing it?

A. I do not know what you did, but these steps seem to work:

Selection Tool.
Double-click the G♮.
Finale switches to the Simple Entry Tool, with the G♮ selected.

*) Hit the Down-Arrow key, to move the note down.
Now you have F♮ (and the note is still selected).

Simple menu > Simple Edit Commands > Accidentals > Double Sharp

B. Another way that also works - begin at *):

Hit the Up-Arrow key twice, to move the note up.
Now you have B♭ (and the note is still selected).

Change the note to B♯.

Hit the Down-Arrow key 3 times, to move the note down.
Now you have F𝄪.

Not necessary since you got it working, but in Speedy I dragged the G down to F and then ++ for the double sharp.

It's hard to judge without more music to provide context, but I would leave the G natural as is for ease of reading.

That's very thoughtful, very sensible. I have applied that thinking before, but the brain pokes in and says "that's not correct."

I will think about your suggestion. Have a great day!
