I appreciate your answers

By default the Sax staff is set to a staff transposition of
(Bb) Up M9, Add 2 Sharps, Treble Clef
Note the last two words: ‘Treble Clef’
- telling that this staff transposition is “locked” to Treble Clef.
Which means that you need to change this {Clef element} of the staff transposition:
In the pop up menu Transposition, choose Other…
You get to the dialog box Staff Transpositions.
You will find the clef setting at the bottom of the dialog box.
I hope that this is clear?
If not, ask again.

Indeed that is a good question.
A more obvious choice would be the Tenor clef which, with Display in Concert Pitch selected, would place the notes at the same vertical positions as in the original transposed notation, with Treble Clef.
Perhaps the Tenor Sax player wants to practise reading in Bass Clef ?

I don't know any Sax Players (including me...) who read Tenor Clef!
Bass Clef for Bari is doable, tho.
Maybe it's for a Concert Pitch Score.
Seeing Tenor Sax Parts in Bass Clef drives me crazy.
Just one Side-Man's opinion.

Thank you for your observations, oldmkvi and Peter
I am writing that instrument just to have an idea oftthe sound of the piece, that I'm intended to be sung by Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass.
The sound of virtual voices does't convince me at all and I prefere the one of those instruments
