Is there a way measure numbers can move automatically to not been overwritten by chords or expressions?

I appreciate your always valuable help and time

No, nothing automatic. The Perfect Layout plug-in will do it, I think. Or, you could put your measure numbers in a different place.

jose oscar,

In your document you have measure numbers displaying both at the beginning of each system and also on every measure.

Here is another positioning of the measure numbers (= on bottom staff; above the bottom staff at the beginning of each system, and below each barline of the bottom staff):

Top staff and ignore other staffs. I use left justification with a H -.05 and a V -.456 offset. It keep measure numbers out of the way of most everything. On Start of staff I use H -.05 and V -.5
This is how it looks.

Perfect Layout will do it but PL has some issues with measure numbers so it is best to set the values to something like I suggested. In fact this was a suggestion from Jan Angermüller the creator of Perfect Layout. It works well.

ebiggs's suggestion seems good. For various reasons I put them below the staff too, though only at the start of the start of each system. Since I have 3- and even 4-digit measure numbers, I have to put them low enough to clear the tail of the clef. The martinets in Music Engraving Tips on Facebook will wag their finger at you, insisting they must be above the staff, but I've never had any complaints.
