Inserting flat symbol into Score Manager/"Score Name" Insert with Raleway font

On Windows you can enter a flat or sharp in a part name (Manage Parts) by typing Ctrl+Shift+F and Ctrl+Shift+S respectively, without explicitly changing fonts. Is there something equivalent on the Mac?

Yes.
Generally the Mac version uses the modifier keys Command+Shift where the Windows version uses Ctrl+Shift.
I often insert a flat via the shortcut Command+Shift+F.

I believe that you, in both Windows Finale and Mac Finale can pull down menus and sub-menus, and see keyboard shortcuts displayed in the menus.

You can also modify the keyboard shortcuts, and create your own, custom shortcuts.

Really? None of them work on my machine and have never worked on any computer I have ever had using Finale.

If you highlight some text and right click on it, it doesn't kick you out of the text block? I can't imagine why it would work for you on your machine and not mine.

I was responding to your claim of needing the edit menu. See boldface.

Well you can do it but you need to use Finale's edit menu instead of the familiar MS copy, C, paste, V, delete, X, contextual menus.

Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Delete seem to work, though (but not Ctrl+X), so you don't need the edit menu. But I agree with you that the standard Windows UI should work, and would be convenient to those who are used to that.
