I increased the font size of all chords - then discovered that the slash chord needs adjustment. I don't know if this is fixable or not. See measure 9 of the attached document.

These are the settings I used to increase the font size of the chords.
Document Options >> Fonts >> Symbol >> Damascus 15 plain
Document Options >> Fonts >> Alteration >> Maestro 18 Plain
Chord >> Change Chord Suffix Fonts >> Damascus 13 plain

In your music, an oblique slash would be more adapted to conventions (alternate Bass defined "as Subtext") which usually means a chord on top of a bass note, not 2 superimposed chords (a horizontal line)
This would solve your issue.
To do it globally (also for the A-7 over D) select your whole piece, Utilities -> Change -> Chords -> Alternate Bass -> As Subtext.

Is there any way to fix the slash chord that I'm using? This is the style that I prefer.

I use the following keyboard sequence to achieve this when placing chords:

D7_C

These should not be two superimposed chords - just an inverted chord. But, I suppose that's the notation I wrote? Two chords over each other?

I chose D7_C because it is easier for me see that it is a slash chord (even if my notation indicated otherwise).

In the past I've used D7/C - but the slash isn't big enough for me.

Your notation vertically offsets the bass though - and that would help a lot.

EDIT: I've applied Utilities -> Change -> Chords -> Alternate Bass -> As Subtext. This should be fine - the offset (subtext) bass really helps visually. This will work.

Thanks!

Since you're on a Mac, look at the RGP Lua script, Chord Kerner.

https://michaelmcclennan.com/chord-kerner-v1-0/

There are some problems. It crashes when you try to add or delete a character. I have corresponded with Mike McClennan, who is aware of it. He promises a fix, as soon as he is done with a big project he's currently working on. But even with the problems, it's a wonderful product.

Chord Kerner v.2 (a great script for RGP Lua, Mac only for the moment) works fine with RGP Lua 0.67. The later versions have problems.
A good reason to keep several versions of RGP Lua, in separate sub-folders of the plug-in folder.

That’s great, Michel. Thanks! Any suggestions where I can get the earlier version?

I have put RGP Lua 0.67 Mac in my Dropbox :
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/16gexw4o ... m6ygw&dl=0
Try "Extract All".
if it doesn't work, I can send it by email (not from the forum, it tells me that the file is too big 5,4 Mo).
Remember to create a specific sub-folder for that version. And use version 2 of Chord Kerner, available here :

Thank you, sir!

Edit: the older version of RGP Lua (0.67) Is installed, and the new version of Chord Kerner 2.1 works just fine! Happy camper.
