I have a job where the composer uses straight flags. Now, on grace notes, the slash is placed incorrectly outside the flag (see ex.). I've looked 'everywhere' for a way to alter this - tools, document options, plugins, manual - but couldn't find anything. Anyone knows how to?

1) Your attached graphic is confusing.
I thought that grace notes should take upstems, regardless of their vertical position.
But your graphic show one upstem grace note, and one downstem grace note.
I do not understand why one is upstem and the other is downstem; they seem to have the same vertical staff position in your attached graphic.
2) Are you - for this project - using v26 or v27.4.1 ?
Anyway, I created - in Finale v26 - a small example, using the Articulation Tool.
This seems to work.

The example wasn't ready when I posted it. Actually both grace notes have to be downstem in this case, and the reason for that is a rather unusual string technique:
Thanks for the articualtion tip, Peter. I think that's the best way to go.
I'm using 27.4 only nowadays. I kept a 26 for safety but I haven't used it recently. Maybe I will uninstall it one day. Thanks for the articualtion tip, Peter. I think that's the best way to go.
