Hi there - I have a number of older 1998 Finale files created on a Windows system. I no longer have access to the Finale version of that time, or a Windows system (am presently on a Mac with Finale 27). It'd be wonderful if someone out there could to try to open these files for me, update 'em, and send 'em back so that I have access to them again. Will happily pay for such trouble!

I take it you've tried opening them in Finale 27 to no avail.

Start by attaching the smallest one here and we'll see if someone can read it.

Thank you for a quick response. Finale 27 cannot open them, as I've tried. I'll dig up one of the files and post them here!

Yes do so. I opened a file form 2000 the oldest I still have on this computer. A bunch from 2003 and 2004 which all open with 27.
Are you sure you are not just seeing the smufl font issue
