What is this, why is it here?

As usual, I imported an XML from SmartScore, and imported it into Finale. Instead of the regular Women's voice, Men's Voice (which I change anyway) I got these strange entries:

Even when I added new staves, and copied music into them, the whatever-it-is came back.

Can you post the XML? Perhaps there's something in it that will explain it. At least open it up in a text editor and search for "121".

I had to load it as a zip. XML is not a valid file extension, it seems.

Try this .musx file, it seems to be ok. Imported from MusicXML into Finale 26 and saved.

I got this with Finale 27.4 on Windows. Odd you got six staves instead of four.

What determines if your imported XML file gets MIDI or VST, Garritan or SmartSynth?
