It happened again and I forgot, can't fine, the original answer. When finale is open, I use audacity to transcribe charts. Audacity nor any other media player will work on my pc when finale is open. When I close finale, everything works fine, so finale is blocking playback by any other program. What's the settings??? I want finale to playback AND audacity to work through my speakers. Thanks!

Either change Finale from using ASIO or get an ASIO driver like FlexASIO.

ty. I assume this is a file thing, not software. I fixed it prior but then it happened again after opening another template.
