Hello, in EDIT I have selected "allow undo." No button appears on toolbar. This has to be a matter of something simple that I just can't figure out.

There is an Edit palette you can enable on the Window menu that has an Undo button. You can drag the palette where you want it. Most people just type Ctrl+Z, though, so I don't find the palette useful. You can also access Undo and Redo from the Edit menu.
