I don't get moving note of second layer staff 1 into staff 2.
But I have no a clear idea of the layers used in the image, really

I appreciate your answers and time

I don't understand your question, but to see what's in what layer, you need to turn on score colors in Preferences. Then layer 1 will be black and layer 2 red. Everything will print black.

I mean in in the image attached. In the image all are in black, of course
The other file is mine in Finale trying to edit that measure

I think the layout is easier to create “the other way around”:
Enter the first 16ths in Staff 2, Layer 1.
Then, move the first 16th into Staff 1.

Thank you very much, Peter,
I see now the way is done, very clear your answer.
But for some reason the step
"move the first 16th into Staff 1"
doesn't work for me.

I select Layer 1/ click note mover tool/ select the little square on the first C#/ Drag upwards

and ...nothing happens

1) In staff 2 you have not entered the Layer 2 notes.
Before using the Note Mover Tool, complete Layer 2, to make the Layer 1 notes flip the stems upwards.

2) These steps work for me:
Switch to Layer 1,
Click the Note Mover Tool,
Click in staff 2, in the first measure (handles appear on the Layer 1 notes),
Drag the first note’s handle up into staff 1 (drag so high up that the handle comes inside the 5 staff-lines of staff 1).

Thank you very much indeed, Peter,
Done.
Very clear.

I didn't know that
"drag so high up that the handle comes inside the 5 staff-lines of staff 1"
I always tried to drag only to the place the note should go. I've been doing wrongly for years!!! my God!!!
Well, never too late
