Hi All

I'm using Mac Finale v26

Can anyone tell me how to set up multiple versions of a single articulation, each with different playback settings ... For instance, Accent with multiple Velocities (110, 130, 150, etc.) ???

Also how to use them with Metatools for rapid selection when writing into a score ???

Thanks for any assistance

Make copies, and edit them individually. You’ll need a way to keep them straight, so maybe number or letter them,

You may find it easiest (I did, at least) to use the Mac keyboard shortcut setup, to avoid conflicting with other metatools.

Also, the copies will only apply to the open document, so you might want to do this by opening a new document without libraries, load the articulations library, follow Miker's suggestion, and then save the library with a unique name.

You could add the articulations to the template you use for creating new documents.

In that way you will automatically have the articulations in all new documents.
