Music spacing problem

I am transcribing some reed parts that require more doubling that my students can handle, and I have come across a problem with spacing that I can't fix.

The issues is with a double-dotted eighth followed by two 32nds. Everything spaces out in Score view, but in Part view, the 32nd notes are crammed together on top of each other. Beat spacing has a comically absurd width for the double dotted eighths, and both note spacing and TimeSig spacing pile the 32nd on top of each other.

I cannot use Perfect Layout anymore since there is no "open using Rosetta" option on my Finale Application.

I know that I will have to manually space these measures just to keep moving forward, but I have attached the file in case anyone knows why this is happening. (measure 36)

EDIT
I realized that I am working on my Intel machine which would not have Rosetta. Still, Perfect Layout does not load on this computer so I can't use it.

At the bottom of your post you tell that you are using Finale v27.
But your Forum User Profile (shown to the right of your post) tells that you are still using v26.
Perhaps it is time to update your profile.

You probably mean “followed by two 64ths” - right? (32nds: three beams - 64ths: four beams)

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce your problem.
For me, everything spaces out nicely, both in the score, and in the parts.

Is there perhaps something you forgot to tell - like e. g. some special files on your computer (files that I do not have)?

Your file opened with an incorrect font(s). Even after changing the font to Maestro, things were odd. So I can't offer much hope, except to say that maybe you should reduce the number of measures per line.

Perhaps you could post a screen shot. But it looks like the font, GnvilFIN, is from Elbsound. I would ask Herr Angermüller himself.

Yes, that’s the font it showed. It’s a paid font, and I don’t need it, so I’ll pass on this one.
