New issue with scrolling left to right in scroll view

I am using Finale 21.4.1.146 on a Mac (Sonoma 14.4.1) Recently, I have had an issue crop up that I am hoping someone can help me with. In scroll view, when I swipe on my Magic Mouse to scroll left to right, the measure numbers above the score move as I am scrolling, but the music does not move until I lift my finger off the mouse . . . and then the music jumps to the new measure position. Until recently the music moved smoothly as I scrolled. Is there a way to have it do that again, instead of the music waiting until I finish scrolling to jump to the new position? Many thanks!

I assume that is a typo and you are using v. 27, right?

Well, I have no idea why, but I went to page view, and when I returned to scroll view it was back to scrolling normally.
