Delete rest

I cannot delete the first rest on Right hand.
Maybe the reason is that at some point I move layer 1 to 2 , or layer 2 to 1


I appreciate your help and time

That “first rest” is the first rest on the bottom staff (in Layer 1).

The rest may look like it is on the top staff, but it has been moved up.

What I did is to use Simple Entry and option click in the bass clef below the C natural. That highlighted the rest so an H hid it.
