Anyone using both versions on the same computer?
Do they interfere in any way, or they stay completely independent?
Any issues about this?
Thanks!
Finale2006 and Finale2007 on the same computer?

According to users on another forum, no problem (Some use more than 2 versions, up to 3 or 4 !). Just make sure (at least this is true for Mac users) that a copy of each Finale preference file is located in the folder of the corresponding application (prefs 2005 in folder of Finale 2005, etc...). Then that preference file takes precedence on any other one.

Thanks, that sounds great! Only I couldn't find anything looking like a Finale preference file, would you care to point it to me?michelp wrote:According to users on another forum, no problem (Some use more than 2 versions, up to 3 or 4 !). Do you use Windows or Mac ? I can only help for the Mac...
By default, a preference file is (in MacOsX) located in user/libraries/preferences/Finale preferences 2006.
Make a copy of that one and place it the Finale 2006 folder.
Then place a preference file in each folder, it will be updated whenever you save prefs of that particular version.
At least, that's what has to be done on the Mac...
