I wish to extract parts from a score. However, I want two parts on one page. 1st and 2nd Clarinet for example. The piece is short so room is not a proplem.

I got that part, but how do I separate the parts so one is on the top of the page and one is on the bottom?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Peter's suggestion will give you a system with 2 staves, of which each player will have to follow his own, the top one or the bottom one.
If you want the 2 instrument parts to follow each one on the page, there isn't, as far as I know, an automatic and fast procedure : it requires some manipulations :
Extract the two parts separately.
At the end of part 1, add as many measures as it already has.
Copy part 2 in these new measures, following the first part.
Reorganize the systems so that part 2 starts in a new system.
Do the necessary clean-ups :
create a final barline for part 1
Create a text block "instrument 2" above the beginnig of part 2
Respace.
Redefine a measure region for part two that duplicates the first part.
Check time, key signature,...
The amount of work involved may suggest that, although it costs a bit more in paper, it is usually faster to print 2 parts separately...
PS : another method would be to organize the layout of part 2 in the lower half of the page.
Print part 1 in the top part of the page, then refeed your printer so that part 2 prints right under part 1.
