A few things to verify :
Is "instrument list" selected in the windows menu ?
Try changing the screen definition of your screen (increase it). Maybe the window is out of your current screen setup.
Or if you once had 2 screens and saved preferences, it could be on the second screen.

Michel, Thanks for your reply. I did try those things but no luck. The other windows such as mixer and movie window do appear but no instrument list window.

If you send me the file (contact me via email, use the email button under my post), even emptied of its notes, I could take a look.
By the way, which version are you using ?

Then you should definitely try to delete the preferences file (a new one will be created, it will reset the default parameters). As I am a Mac user, I can't tell you where it is located on a Windows machine.

I could be wrong here, but I think that the Preferences file for Windows Finale is called something like FINALE.INI.
