Keyboard Shortcuts
Moderators: Peter Thomsen, miker
Is there a way to customise keyboard shortcuts for the Plug-in menu? I would like to have a quick way of doing "Notes and Rests (Hide)" for teaching material, rather than having to use the drop-down menus all the time. Ctrl-Y (Redo) doesn't work the same way in Finale as it does in (say) Word, where it redoes the most recent action on any bit of blocked out text. Any help gratefully received.

Maybe a software which allows you to program macros, triggered by keys, would be helpful. With a key combination of your choice, you can easily launch menu items, etc..., and even more complex sequences of actions. Try Quickeys for instance.
