Is there a Finale classical composers community?

I'm wondering if there's a community somewhere, made up of classical composers who use Finale as their medium?

These Finale boards seem geared toward helping people figure out how the products work; but is there a group of composers somewhere, who use Finale, and discuss the different aspects of life as a modern-day composer?

I realize it's a longshot, since composer communities are already fairly rare, without narrowing the search down even further like this; but it can't hurt to ask.

If there does not yet exist such a community, perhaps a new forum can be added to this one, for this purpose--that is, if anyone else likes the idea.

It's not exactly a Finale user forum, but it's definitely a composers' community:

Also, That Other Finale Forum -- http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5 -- has several "serious" orchestral composers from all over the world.

Thanks for your replies. I knew about the first community, but not the second.

In the first case, it's composing but not necessarily Finale; in the second, it's Finale but not necessarily composing.

Therefore the answer to my question appears to be "no," but I do appreciate the resources, thanks.

I compose, so we are a community! he he..

Hi Chillowack and all,

Did you find some? I'm eager too! I appreciate the answers TWW and Peter, I'm registering there now!

Anyone know of other composer's forums?

I gathered a list of forums (not all music) a while ago here: http://givnology.com/boardroome.htm

Hi Teo1,

My apologies for taking so long to respond--I was away from this forum for awhile, and only just noticed your post.

Thank you for posting that page full of composing communities--what a great resource!
