Please, I need help and I can't figure it out.

Ok so I have a problem with the guitar part I am putting in. I want the guitar to play the rhythm of the chord I put. I can't seem to figure it out. It keeps playing the note I place it on instead of the rhythm so if you have any idea how to fix I need to know ASAP. Thank you.

I'll say the same thing I said to him (with no response:) Can you post the file, and explain what you expect? Then I can give you an answer.

A preliminary clarification, just in case : if you want your chords to be played in a specific rhythm, you are going to use rhythmic notation, but you have to enter each complete chord (all its notes) in the measure before you apply the staff style "rhythmic notation".
In other words, chord symbols are not enough. Finale will only play rhythmic chords if you enter them in detail.
