Can anyone help me with Jazz trumpet markings for Finale 2010? Are shapes for these already included with Finale, or is there place I can get them?

Thank you so much for your help!

Oh memories...

I can't believe how much time we spent at the old Navy School of Music learning the actual NAMES for those markings in addition to how they sound and how to produce them.

doink!

Then you got into an actual Navy band, played Anchors Aweigh 10,000 times and never used them.

Actually, I was a lead trumpet player in several U.S. Navy Bands and played a lot of American Jazz music for people who loved the music in the Mediterranean area.

My first assignment was with the Commander Sixth Fleet Band but the ship was overcrowded when I arrived and I was sent on temporary duty to the NATO band in Naples, Italy.

When room opened up on the ship I returned and played jazz music in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Tunisia, Malta, Turkey, and Greece.

My last assignment was at the Brooklyn Navy Band. There I did play Anchors Aweigh far too many times.

When I continued my education at Ohio State University people could not understand why I wanted nothing to do with the famous O.S.U. marching band. Not to slight that great band, but by then I had enough "marching" for a lifetime.
