Hello!
I have a score with chord symbols (Cm7,Bb7 etc...).It is similar to jazz standard.
How can I copy the chord (only) to merge it in another part of score?
I'm using Finale 2010 for Mac!
Regards.
Thanks a lot.

In the Edit Filter... screen, set it to only Chords. Then, when you copy and paste, only the chords will move.

Selection tool. Select the region where the chords are. Edit menu->edit filter. Unselect all (click on None), then select chords. Copy and paste. Only the chords will get copied. They will be added to the existing material.
Don't forget to change the filter to "all" when you are done.
PS : to answer your last question, the filter will apply on a selected region.
