HI,

I've been using v26 for years, and this is the first time this has happened.

This rhythm: 16th, 16th, 8th is confusing my lead trumped. It sounds like it's being played by a fourth grader. Kind of gets the first note, a little more on the second, then the 8th note is okay, but not great. Staccatos are hit-and-miss. 16th note runs are okay. Went from sounding like the LSO or NYPhil to my fourth-grade band.

Human Playback is on and set to Standard.

Thought it might be quantization, but nothing there has helped. Isn't there usually a way to turn quantization off? I recently just set it to the smallest note and EDU values possible.

Also: Reset all prefs recently.
Human Playback Prefs: I usually have "incorporate data" on all options, but it seems to have switched during the reset. Could that be it?

FYI, I kind of think I fixed it. In MIDI Data (Human Playback Preferences), I just switched Start/Stop Time to HP/Ignore Data, like the other ones.
I've always had them all on "Incorporate Data" (I've been working on this file for 2 years), but now I've had to switch them all to "Ignore Data", but at least it works better...
