I am using more than one instrument for the first time but am having issues changing the sound of one stave to upright bass. I have selected aria player and upright bass, changed the channel to the corresponding channel within scoremanager that I have selected but all I am hearing on both staves is steinway piano.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Peter - many thanks for looking at this, however I'm getting a piano sound in the piano staff and no sound out of the bass. Initially on trying it I was prompted to update Aria, which I have done. I'm trying to play it but now getting an Aria Player error, as per the attached.
I'm attaching an updated version of the tune with an extended bass part. I am able to go into Aria through the scoremanager and can hear the sounds when I open it up, but beyond that it doesn't appear to be working.
I'm not able to change the Prg number in that column - it just defaults to 1 when I try. I can change banks but that doesn't appear to be doing anything.
This is incredibly frustrating.
I'm not having much luck with Finale 25 unfortunately. I'm attaching an updated version of the tune with an extended bass part. I am able to go into Aria through the scoremanager and can hear the sounds when I open it up, but beyond that it doesn't appear to be working.

Hi - thanks for this, but its the same as before.
I can hear the piano but the bass is silent.
On Score Manager both the program and bank on both tracks are set to 1. Is that correct? I can't change Program at all.
Thanks,
Andy

When I open my file, the Piano is set to Channel 1 and the Bass to Channel 2. Not sure what's causing the issue for you. I think you need to contact support for their take on the issue.
